What is OGMO
OGMO (Labor Management Body) is the entity responsible for managing casual port labor in organized ports. In Paranaguá, OGMO administers the registration, enrollment and assignment of Casual Port Workers (TPAs), including the tally clerks.
CONFEPAR maintains permanent integration with OGMO Paranaguá, ensuring that the assignment of tally clerks takes place in an organized, transparent way and in compliance with the category's rules and agreements.
How assignment works
Registration & Enrollment
Tally Clerks are registered or enrolled with OGMO Paranaguá, becoming eligible for casual port work.
Assignment
Work distribution follows criteria defined in the agreement, such as rotation and attendance, ensuring fairness among workers.
Operation
The assigned tally clerk works on cargo checking, coordinating and verifying volumes during loading and unloading.
Compensation
Amounts follow what is established in the Collective Bargaining Agreements signed with SINDOP, providing legal security for the category.
CONFEPAR's role
Integration between CONFEPAR and OGMO Paranaguá is essential for the appreciation and training of tally clerks. The union monitors the assignment process, defends compliance with collective rules and constantly seeks to improve working conditions.
In recent years, this joint work has resulted in advances such as the admission of 24 new tally clerks through selection, strengthening the category and renewing the profession.
